I recently have been in a cell phone nightmare. I upgraded to the iphone 4G and it has been nothing but one problem after the next. I do not recommend the 4G and currently had to go back to my original iphone, yes, the original/first iphone from 3 years ago, waiting to get a 3GS 32 GB, but that brings me to why I am blogging.
I was without a cell phone for about an hour and it was fantastic. As I left the Apple store to go over to the AT & T store, I was phone less and it was very peaceful. No texting, no rings, no emails, no alerts, no nothing. I felt someone had taken me back to my childhood to where phones were only in houses and in phone booths. I totally understand why seniors remember the old days and wish it was so again…my thoughts exactly as I was without a cell phone and could have fallen off the face of the earth and no one would have found me, because I did not have a cell phone!!!
